An educator based in Bergen County, New Jersey, Fathia Balgahoom has taught courses such as US History I, US History II, and World History during her career. She has experience as both a general education and special education professional. Fathia Balgahoom has provided lessons, grading, and related services to more than 100 students per school year. She began her career in education as a teacher’s assistant at AppleTree Preschool.

From 2018 to 2020, Fathia Balgahoom worked for Montclair State University as an admissions ambassador. Her responsibilities in this position involved meeting with prospective students and their families while supporting the school’s recruiting efforts.
